The new XE sedan is the first among the lineup Jaguar  received a new modular platform iQ[Al] from Jaguar Land Rover. The Portfolio version offers customers a choice of more expensive leather in different colors, and the dashboard features a two-tone design. In the sportier R-Sport and S trims, the new XE gets special door card trim, a sports steering wheel and a rear spoiler.

The diesel range of XE engines is represented by a 2.0-liter unit with a capacity of 163 hp. and a torque of 380 Nm (within 1750 - 2500 rpm) and a turbo engine of the same size, which produces 180 hp. and 430 Nm. Gasoline engines are represented by a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit with a capacity of 200 hp. With. and a peak "torque" of 320 Nm (at 1750 - 4000 rpm), as well as a 3.0-liter supercharged V6.
